Your wallet
Keep preferred payment methods handy
In your wallet, you can add new credit/debit cards, add your bank account information, and control your deposits. To add a card, just add the card number, cardholder name, expiry date, and CVV/CVC code. You can mark it as a favorite to keep it as the default payment method for your transactions. You can also add your bank account information by adding your IBAN, Swift code, account number, bank name and branch address. This payment option can also be highlighted as your default payment method.
You may also set your bidding limit by making a deposit. The deposit should be 20% of the total amount of the machine or item you’re bidding on. For example, if you make a deposit of USD $40,000, you can bid on items that have the total bidding price of USD $200,000.
You can always adjust your bidding limit by depositing more funds to your account. You can top it up either through a credit/debit card, through ApplePay or GPay, through cheques, or through a manual bank transfer. Keep in mind that cheques and manual bank transfers may take up to three business days to reflect on your account. You’ll also need to email us the transfer slip or a copy of the cheque on payments@makana.com.
