Quickly narrow down what you’re looking for

Makana.com offers a range of filters to help you narrow down your search and find the equipment that best fits your needs.

The catalog shows 15 products per page, and is automatically sorted by "newly added", to help returning users better know the latest machines listed. To adjust your view, you can use the following filters and sorting options:

1. Sort options

• Best match: Applies automatically when you use the search bar to find specific items (e.g., brand or machine type). This is being improved to consider your search and transaction history, as well as viewed, liked, or saved items.

• New in stock: Lists products from newest to oldest based on when they were added.

• Price: Sort by price, either lowest to highest or highest to lowest.

• Distance: Displays items closest to your location if you enable location cookies or register with an address.

1. Sale type

Choose between “Buy now” items and “Auction lots”. This lets you filter to see only items available for direct purchase or only auction listings.

1. Category and subcategory

• Category: Filter by main machine categories like excavators, dozers, and compactors.

• Subcategory: Becomes available once a category is selected, offering more specific options (e.g., mini excavators, wheel excavators under the excavators category).

1. Brand and model

• Brand: Filter by manufacturer (e.g., CAT, Volvo, Komatsu).

• Model: Independently filter by specific models, such as CAT D8T or Volvo EC550.

1. Price

Set a price range in your chosen currency, narrowing down products to match your budget (e.g., $10,000 to $50,000).

You can always click "Clear all" to remove all applied filters and sorting, returning to the default view of newly added items.
