# Getting started

Step-by-step guide to what you need to start using makana.com

To create a new makana.com account, follow these steps:

* Enter your phone number and click "Continue".
* Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your phone via SMS.
* Choose your account type: Individual or Company.
* Fill in the required fields: First name, last name, email, and company name (if applicable).
* Set a new password, and repeat your entry to confirm it. Use at least 10 characters, using lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
* Click "Continue" to proceed. Make sure you’ve read our T\&C’s, privacy policy, and cookie policy.

Alternatively, you can use your google or Microsoft account to sign-up.
