Find running, upcoming, and past events

The main auctions page on makana.com provides an organized overview of all auction events, whether ongoing, upcoming, or past. To access these events, users must sign in at the top of the page. Once signed in, users can explore auction details and participate in live events.

1. Ongoing auctions: This section displays auctions that are currently live. For each event, you’ll see:

• Event name: The name of the auction event.

• Location: Where the auction is taking place (online or on-site).

• Auction type: Whether it’s a live or timed auction.

• Time and date: The exact schedule of the event.

• Time left: The remaining time until the auction ends.

• Ring: Group or category of items being auctioned.

• Items: The number of available lots in the auction.

• Action button: A "Join now" button to immediately participate in the auction.

1. Upcoming auctions: Here, users can preview auctions that are scheduled for the future. Each event includes:

• Event name: The title of the upcoming auction.

• Location: Where the auction will be held.

• Auction type: Whether the auction is live or timed.

• Time and date: When the auction is set to begin.

• Starts in: The countdown until the auction starts.

• Ring: The category or group of items in the auction.

• Items: The number of lots available in the upcoming auction.

• Action button: A "View products" button to explore the machinery and equipment that will be up for auction.

1. Past auctions: This section provides a summary of completed auctions, which is useful for reviewing past sales and analyzing trends. Information available includes:

• Location: Where the auction took place.

• Auction type: Whether the auction was live or timed.

• Time and date: When the auction occurred.

• Items: The total number of items auctioned.

• Total sales: The overall sales generated during the auction.

• Action button: A "View results" button to review the final results of the auction, including sold prices and other key details.

Additionally, below the auction sections, you’ll find the auction shows area. This section is divided into two parts:

1. Upcoming shows: Shows that are scheduled to take place in the near future. These shows are labeled "Upcoming", and you can see the scheduled date. Users can click the "Notify me" button, which will send a notification when the show is about to begin.

2. Ended shows: Past shows are labeled "Ended", displaying the date of the event. Each show features a "Watch now" button, which redirects you to a playback page. On this page, users can watch the recorded show, add comments, and view what others have commented.

For future auctions, users must also sign in to participate. These auctions are labeled “Upcoming”, and display the event date and name, with the option to "Subscribe for updates" to receive notifications when the event starts.
